Regimental Point System
Promotions in our regiment especially for the enlisted ranks will depend primarily on attendance in weekly events. Each event counts for 1 point except for the Sunday training that will count for 2 points and the occasional mid-week events that will count for 3 points.
Members may also gain points by performing well in events that are not considered 'training' in other words all events except for the Sunday one(this may very depending on the event schedule). Since scoreboards are reset with each change of map the leading CO or NCO will be responsible of keeping track of this as well as the member who thinks has met the requirements to be awarded a point in this manner. These requirements are:
1)Marksmanship - 1 point for 5 or more kills in a single round done through shooting
2)Melee - 3 points for 6 or more kills in a single round through melee combat
3)Total kill count - 3 points for 1st place in any round of an event, 2 points for 2nd place and 1 point for 3rd place. At the end of the event members with more than 20 total kills get awarded 4 points and those with more than 30 total kills get awarded 5 points
Furthermore extra points may be awarded in a Sunday training as well but that is up to the highest ranking NCO or CO in that training. For example through little tournaments of 1v1 or 2v2 in melee and so forth an NCO or CO may decide to award the victorious members some points. In that case the points awarded must up to 2 points maximum and never exceed that number unless the issue is brought to an officer meeting and after voting something else is decided.
Last but not least members will earn points via recruitment. If a member has recruited another member into the regiment and the new member gets promoted to Pvt then the recruiter will earn 3 points.
Note: NCOs and COs are expected to have recruited a specific number of new members in order to advance to the next rank. That number will be regularly decided upon in regimental officer meetings.
